The Head Massage

In a world where we are often in our head and disconnected from our body, the head massage helps the reconnection between body and mind.

What happens during the session?

You are lying on a table, dressed, and the practitioner starts working on the shoulders and the trapezius, gradually moving up to the neck and the back of the head. Different therapeutic points are worked on certain meridians to bring the energy back into movement and release possible blockages. Then the work is done on the reflex zones of the face and the ears.

Head massage

The techniques used

The head massage I practise combines the work on the energy lines and the therapeutic points of the Thai Yoga Massage with Chinese, Japanese and Korean techniques. The work on the facial areas is inspired by facial reflexology.

The head massage seeks to induce a deep relaxation and a muscular release. By working on the reflex zones of the face, the practitioner stimulates the energy circulation of the associated organs, for a rebalancing and harmonizing effect.
